Aprille L. Thomas

After a decade in public relations, working mostly in the tourism and hospitality sector within the Caribbean, I realized that something was missing. Many of the brands were being represented by companies far afield who had the media contacts, but didn’t understand the nuances of the Caribbean.

 

Harnessing my expertise in PR, deep-rooted knowledge of the Caribbean, and flair for creative storytelling, I founded Thomas.A Public Relations Limited. Our agency stands apart by seamlessly blending a robust international media network with an unwavering commitment to authentically showcasing the Caribbean’s diverse narratives.

 

I studied, managed and directed over five public relations agencies around the world before starting my own. Now, our mission is to create a Caribbean brand that represents who we are in the best, most authentic light.

Specialized in communications research and behavioural communication. This advanced study helped me understand how audiences process information and what drives behavioural change. By analyzing patterns in media consumption and engagement, I’ve developed the ability to craft strategies that not only inform but also inspire action and create lasting impact.

B.A. Media, Journalism & Digital Arts (minor in Marketing)
St. Michael's College, VT, USA

This degree offered me a strong foundation in media production, storytelling, and digital innovation, while the marketing component sharpened my ability to connect content with audience needs. With this blend of skills, I learned to craft impactful narratives and strategies that engage and influence in today's digital landscape.
